MAYHA Youth Hockey
MAYHA recognizes a broad range of abilities and commitment levels among our families, and we strive to provide appropriate instruction and competition for all levels at reasonable costs, while maximizing player enjoyment and skill development. We are committed to giving every child who wants to play hockey the opportunity to do so.
Ages
8U - Mites (2016 to 2017)
10U - Squirts (2014 to 2015)
12U - PeeWees (2012 to 2013)
14U - Bantam (2010 to 2011)
When
Registration begins in July so team planning, coach selection and scheduling can begin.
The regular season for MAYHA begins in October and finishes the beginning of March.
Where
Practices and home games are held at the Simek Recreation Center. Games are primarily played across North and Central WI region.
Practices
Practices are held 2-3 days a week.
Games
Games are typically played on weekends.
8U typically play in 5-8 Jamborees per year.
10U thru 14U typically play in 30-40 games per year.
Jerseys
8U Jerseys will be supplied by the MAYHA. Jerseys will be handed out by the coaches prior to your first Jamboree and collected after your last Jamboree.
10U thru 14u will need to purchase team jerseys from MAHYA. A jersey order will be place after registration.
VOLUNTEERING
All Families are required to complete their necessary volunteer hours. Please see the Volunteering page under Resources for more information.
