Neck Laceration Protection Requirement Information
INFORMATION ABOUT NEW NECK PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS
HECC (Hockey Equipment Certification Council) is working on neck laceration protection requirements and certification. These certifications are expected to go into effect in January of 2025. They will be using the BNQ (Bureau de normalisation du Quebec) certification already used in Canada. So as a parent it would be in your best interest to select a neck laceration protector that bears the BNQ certification.
