Learn To Skate
The goal of Learn to Skate is getting kids comfortable on the ice, working up to standing then skating on their own, introducing the proper way to hold a stick, with the goal being a skater is ready and excited to graduate to Mite hockey.
No prior skating experience needed. During the season we help kids learn to skate. Most of all we have fun!
Ages
Learn to Skate (2016 to 2021) and first time skaters.
When
Session 1: Nov 9th, 16th, 23rd, Dec 7th, 14th, 21st.
Session 2 Jan 4th, 11th, 18th, Feb 1st, 15th, 22nd.

Saturday Mornings 8:30am - 9:30am
Games
There may be an opportunity for an optional Learn to Skate Jamboree at the end of the season.
Equipment
You can purchase your own equipment or MAYHA offers free equipment rental.
Costs
MAYHA Registration + USA Hockey Fee
USA Hockey registration is required prior to registering for MAYHA Learn to Skate Program
